I create visual excitement in my work by combining geometric imagery that is rooted in the mystical/occult teachings, with brush strokes that typify expressive abstract painting.

Geometric shapes, such as the circle and the triangle, are themselves archetypal and represent Man's striving for unity and harmony with the Cosmos. The unifying link in my work is my belief in the Oneness between the Universe and Man. I see this interaction as being fertile, reciprocally nourishing; it is a message of optimism depicted in strong, bold and lush colors, clearly influenced by my South American background.
